from somatic cell hybrids

The following hybrids retain a single whole chromosome as the only human contribution: they can be used as source for WCP (keep in mind the R-banding pattern of Alu-PCR):

*hybrid 051 contains, in addition to the entire chr. #14, the tip of 16p
*hybrid 153 contains, in addition to the Y chromosome, a small 17p region. The signal at Xp is due to the pseudoautosomal region.
