The group is involved on studies focusing on:

- The transactivation activity of the p53 gene family aimed to the identification and functional characterization of new p53 family target genes in order to define the specific functions of the family in the cellular pathways;

- The high-throughput prediction and characterization of alternative transcripts in normal and pathologic human tissues through computational and experimental approaches.
